WATCH/DOWNLOAD: DJ SOLO’s Alice In Wonderland [Full Video - 1.2G]

This is my first video mix! Made specially for a live performance set at our Alice In Wonderland themed dubstep event, the overwhelming response was “WHEN IS THIS COMING OUT?!!!” So here it is for everyone to enjoy, the retelling of this classic story from start to finish, edited to dubstep and drumstep, mixed together in my usual mixtape collage style, and sprinkled with samples, new story lines, hidden messages, and fully lip synched to all the songs. Not to mention some brand new DJ SOLO mashups. If you thought Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon set to The Wizard of Oz was crazy…get ready for a TRIP to Wonderland!!!

Numark recently added a new artist to their roster and it’s none other that DJ muthafuckin SOLO! Up on their site is an interview with me about the Numark NS6 and the future of djing, as well as some awesome photos by my friends Vladimir Zaytsev and Mark Spomer. They asked me some in-depth questions and I’m not sure if they were ready for my answers, but I let em know that the NS6 is what’s up and it’s the latest weapon in my DJ arsenal.

Whatup fam!! Sorry it’s been a while, but your boy’s been grinding harder than ever, doing tours, and most importanly MAKIN MUSIC!! I got some crazy songs that are a combination of heavy electronic bass music and hip-hop influences, with the agression and structure of punk rock. The goal was to make music that was as big and heavy as dubstep, drumstep, and drum n bass with those knds of sounds, but give it an organic, human touch, so that it doesn’t sound like some kid just pressed a bunch of buttons on a laptop and hit “save”. I’ve enlisted some of my close personal musician friends, as well as up and coming artists in my area to be featured on this album project, as well as a few new songs that are entirely produced by and feature me. I also have 2 photographers/videographers that will be documenting the recording, touring, and filming videos for the songs. So keeps your eyes and ears to the streets for the new shit…coming soon!!

This is an original production based on a movie I have in my head about Native American Zombies rising from the dead and taking back America. For all the super S.A. fans, you might notice the intro Indian sample from Psycho Realm’s “Pow Wow” and the homie Danny Trejo as the Apache Zombie on my cover art (taken from Machete).
